so obviously laying in your bed alone at 3:08am tumblr-ing on a wednesday night whilst jamming to taylor swift’s “love song” isn’t the most attractive and/or cool thing to do but sometimes it just fits into your life.
i’ve had more than one conversation lately that’s started with a “so what’s new with you?!?” and the only response i have to give is a “uh…i mean, nothing really” and unfortunately this is a very truthful response.
however, i think i’m okay with a summer of growing after a semester of non-stop on the GOgo. it’s nice to have a second to deal with the changes that have occurred unbeknownst recently and/or the things that were mostly insignificant until your life seemingly only revolves around filing papers, deciding if joe’s is more fun than murphy’s, and folding t-shirts at urban. i guess there’s just mini-problems to deal with that are easy to brush off when you’re busy living the abroad dream…now that i have a year and a half to prepare for the next step in the adventure that will be my life, i’m happy to have this very slow-paced, almost totally annoying stage of life (aka summer 09) to get me in the right mindset for what is to come.
but seriously…get me out of this town. i welcome some wonderful change. so ready, woo woo
